Boxing club Kiko partly inherits martial arts Sports Club Kiril and Metodi, created in 2001 by Kiril Bonev and Metodi Galabov. But due to disputes on the management of the club and the training methods of athletes, it has been decided to close "Kiril and Metodi" club in SCC, PD, NII and everywhere else it is registered. The idea is for each of the owners to open a club by his own understanding and principles.
And so, in 2003, martial arts sports club "Kiko" is established, with chairman- Kiril Bonev. The "Kiril and Metodi" sports club is permanently discarded.

The beginning was very difficult for our team, because there were no training facilities for conducting the training process. At the same time the competitions from the sports calendar of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation kept on.
The club has great organizational difficulties at this time and wishes to express enormous gratitude to the President of the Boxing Club "September" - Stefan Stefanov / THE NOODLE / who took us in his little training hall for three months, from May to July. During this period our teams participate in all sports competitions from the calendar.
In September 2004 our own training hall is already a fact It is located in the sports gym of "Sv. Kliment Ohridski" elementary school, in "Moderno Predgradie" neighborhood.
The hall is in very poor condition but with much effort, resources, organization and hard work, together with the support of the school management, the gym gets very decent look. Workouts that take place every day from Monday to Friday from 17.00 hours for all ages.
Assistant coach in the team is the longtime coach in "Slavia"-Sofia, Dimitar Georgiev – creator of many boxers, including Boris Georgiev. Dimitar Georgiev is his first coach, unfortunately his name is never recognized in public as a person who discovered a great talent.
