Our social assistants They provide services tailored to the needs of each client, which can span all the aspects of the individual’s everyday life, and in most cases prove to be a crucial link between the family and the elderly person. The assistants provide non-medical care only and, if necessary, refer any clients’ health conditions to the respective local medical authorities. A social assistant will normally spend between 3 and 6 months caring for a given client, and thereafter will be replaced by another qualified specialist. Home senior care instead of care home A number of studies and examples worldwide show that senior and disabled people would rather live in the familiar environment of their homes than moving into care homes Administrative organisation and relationship between the interested parties The social assistants are officially employed by MomTrade Agency in Bulgaria and are sent to work in Germany under a contract signed between us and the respective families which have requested our services. Based on that MomTrade Agency has the responsibility to calculate and remit any statutory deductions due to the Bulgarian tax authorities on behalf of the social assistants during their contractual period of employment with the families. Our social assistants will be provided with form E-101, which, if necessary, will allow them to receive medical care in Germany. According to the contract signed between us and the families the assistants will be paid on monthly basis and will be entitled to a set period of leisure time. In addition a fixed allowance, payable on monthly basis, will be agreed, which the assistants will have to use for food shopping for the elderly people they are looking after and themselves.
