Technology
Mechanical pre-treatmentWastewater flows by gravity from the sewerage system through stainless fine bar rack. Impurities are captured there, otherwise they could damage the equipment. Cached impurities are manually removed and disposed into nearby container.Biological treatmentIn designing of waste water treatment plant it is necessary to choose the appropriate type of technology able to reach satisfactory parameters in reducing organic pollution and removing nitrogen and phosphorus compounds from polluted wastewater.
The D–N (denitrification – nitrification) technology along with chemical phosphorus precipitation, applied in the system under consideration, is the most appropriate one for satisfying the relevant water quality standards. This technology is implemented by design of the wastewater treatment facility introducing two activation zones with different technological conditions. In aerated (nitrification zone), ammonia is oxidised to nitrates by bacteria in presence of dissolved oxygen.
The wastewater treatment plant BioTechnology has the following technological zones:- Denitrification (anoxic) compartment - for full nitrate removal and partial BOD decrease;- Nitrification (aerobic) compartment – for full ammonia oxidation to nitrate in aerobic conditions, aerobic oxidation of the remain organic matters and phosphorus removal by chemical precipitation (installed by the decision of the customer).- Compartment for UV disinfection - installed by the decision of the customer.- Sludge aerobic digestion and thickening compartment - excess activated sludge is pumped to the digestion zone, where it is thickened by gravity. Sludge holding tank is aerated by fine-bubble aeration elements.

Household - WWTP 2 - 30 /People Equivalent/The wastewater treatment facilities ВТ 5 – ВТ 30 are designed to treat small sources of wastewater such as family houses, villas, holiday villages and small factories.
Medium - WWTP 40 - 150 /People Equivalent/The wastewater treatment facilities ВТ 50 – ВТ 150 are designed to treat medium sources of wastewater such as small settlements, hamlets, hotels placed out of towns, camping sites, motels, petrol stations and some small industrial enterprises.
Municipal - WWTP 200 - 2000 /People Equivalent/The wastewater treatment facilities type ВТ 200 – ВТ 2000 is designed for purification of large secondary sources of wastewater: villages, resorts, small towns, camping sites, hotels, housing cooperatives and some industrial enterprises with domestic faecal contamination.
Pump Stations and Inspection ShaftsThe technology created by BioTeh for decentralized canal systems is suitable for hill areas, areas with high underground waters level and firm base. For these areas the standard canal systems and central waste water treatment plants are very expensive.The BioTeh pump stations eliminate the necessity of the traditional gravitational canal, DECREASING significantly the investment costs ABOUT 40-60%, depending on the area.
Grease InterceptorsThe Grease Interceptors are designed to collect oils and fats flowing out of kitchens, food and meat processing operations, etc. The oils and fats are precipitated and collected in the Grease Interceptors to protect the sewer and other parts from being fouled and clogged up.Waste disposer shall not be installed before the grease interceptor. Using the kitchen disposer is not allowed due to the excessive loading of the interceptor with organic matter (the sewer does not serve as a transport system for the waste, and neither does the grease interceptor serve as a cleaning unit or a sludge sump).
Plastic Reservoirs and Containers for LiquidsThe plastic tanks are being used for constant or temporary collection unit for waste or already purified waters. The producer requires them to be used accordingly to their purpose.The main technical parameters of the plastic tanks are shown in the specification table. Their working volume is reached when the water level reaches the low end of the inlet or outlet tube if such is required.
Swimming Pools from PolystoneBioTeh OOD builds, installs and maintains swimming pools from polystone. Polystone is a kind of material, which belongs to the group of thermo-plasts, having very good physical-mechanical properties and hygienic characteristics. In the pools, built with this material may be kept foods and also aggressive things. The material has a stabilizer for double UV protection and it will withstand even the most drastic climate changes while keeping its hydro-isolation characteristics, which allows the construction of indoor and outdoor pools.
