MULTI-LEKON Ltd. was founded in 1991 as a limited liability company. The factory construction takes up some 1000 square meters. It comprises five optical, one chemical and one pharmaceutical laboratories. The optical laboratories produce hard lenses, PMMA, DK-30, DK-60 and soft lenses with 38%, 55% and 74% water content, toric and cosmetic tinted lenses. The contact lenses: - allow for corrections which cannot be achieved by means of glasses - give a better visual acuity and a better peripheral vision - offer comfort and self-confidence - allow for unrestricted sports activities - may help you change your appearance (tinted lenses) The above types of lenses are designed for correction of the vision in cases of long-sighted (hypermetropia), short-sighted (myopia), astigmatism, keratoconus, aphakia, and cataract. The laboratories of MULTI-LEKON Ltd. are supplied with the most up-todate equipment for production and quality assurance check of contact lenses. The equipment was supplies by Coburn Optical Industries - USA - one of the most prestigious manufactures of glasses and contact lenses equipment in the world with a standing position on the market for more than 41 years. The basic equipment is controlled by PCs connected in a network which on the one hand makes possible the independent functiining of every device while on the other hand allows for the simurtaneous functioning of all the machinery. The factory offers a wide range of tints which can be applied to all types of soft lenses. The tints may either highlight the colour of the patient's iris of ghange its colour completely. Tinten contact lenses without diopter are also being manufactured. Besides the traditional possibilities with the A spherical clearance the Coburn equipment allows for the manufacturing of a spherical lens with basic, clearance up to 7 peripheral areas.For patients having a high dioptre lenticular lenses are being manufactured.
