Elia produce sunflower kernels, sunflower, rapeseed, corn and wheat and other vegetables      About us: Elia was founded in 1995 and its main field of activity is agriculture. Geostroy Engineering is the official distributor of Elia. In 2012 the company started producing sunflower kernels. It’s a newly build facility with modern technologies and look, with the help of the European Union, part of Geogroup trademark. As of now the team consists of 20 professional workers with solid knowledge of the whole process. The company cultivates over 12 000 decares, but the highly ambitious team is collecting new agricultural land. The company has quality control systems HACCP and ISO. We produce sunflower kernels, sunflower, rapeseed, corn and wheat and other vegetables. The technical equipment corresponds to the demand in modern agriculture and provides fast and efficient work – reason for the good price policy of the company.      Quality process: We have different quality control systems and departments. The first one is responsible for the sunflower that comes from the field. It is cleaned from any impurities and metals. At the first stage, bigger objects are removed and at the second stage it is inspected precisely by machines for smaller objects. The Sunflower goes through dust cleaning and metal detectors. Then a laboratory executive takes samples for inspection. If everything is according regulations it is stored and ready to proceed to the factory. Each silo has 30 measuring points which with the help of the ventilation systems maintain good quality of the Sunflower and ensure that nothing happens to it. In case there is a problem in the silos the work stops until the problem is resolved. Samples are taken every day from 2 to 5 times depending on the work schedule to provide great quality of the end product. Production process Our processing line consists of new and modern machines. We have several cleaning machines, two new calibrating machines and two new color sorters. Samples from the sunflower kernels are taken every hour and if a problem occurs, countermeasures are taken immediately. Machines are cleaned every day and inspections are made every week. The factory works according HACCP standards and regulations, and ISO certified. Storing The finished product is stored in a warehouse which can hold 600 tons, has constant temperature and pest control systems. There are installed systems against birds, insects and rodents in the silos and in the warehouse. In the end we provide good and reliable transport service if needed and correct loading of the goods for safe and fast delivery.    www.eliaplc.com
