With its long history in the fields of dermatologic surgery and dermatologic oncology, Onkoderma clinic caters for patients from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Turkey, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Consultations are carried out after enrollment. The price of primary medical consultation is 170 leva. Secondary medical consultation is 90 leva. Dermoscopy is 40 leva. The institution doesn’t work with The NZOK – the national health insurance company!

A large number of outpatient dermatological surgical procedures are carried out in the dermatological unit according to the volumes of surgical activity admissible/allowed for the specialty Dermatology and Venereology (surgical removal of nevi, thin melanomas; small basal cell and squamous-cell carcinomas with the respective field of surgical security; surgical removal of warts and fibromas; skin and mucosal diagnostic biopsies), STD diagnostics and treatments (DNA diagnostics for oncogenic and non-oncogenic HPV papilloma viruses – genotyping, PCR-based genotyping of all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases, such as Gardnerella vaginalis, Candidiasis, Trichomoniasis, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Mycoplasmas), diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune diseases (Atopic dermatitis, Psoriasis Vulgaris, Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Dermatomyositis), infectious (fungi on the nails, genital warts, seborrheic dermatitis, herpes simplex and other viral infections), acne and other rare diseases and syndromes; diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of allergic diseases; testing of patients (including early diagnosis in children) suspected to different types of food allergies and allergies to inhaled allergens, including pollen, mold, dust mites, animals – a horse, dog, cat.
Medium to large volumes of surgical interventions in patients with skin tumors requiring general anesthesia or lymph node removal are performed (after a consultative examination) in subsequently provided by Onkoderma specialized oncosurgical units.

Professor Dr. Georgi Tchernev
Prof. Dr. Georgi Tchernev graduated his medical education in 2001 at the American University “Benjamin Franklin” , Freie Universität Berin, in Berlin. Then applied and was approved for a PhD student in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology. After this time he worked in parallel and as an assistant doctor/resident at the University Hospital Benjamin Franklin, Departments of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology (2001-2004).
From 2004 to early 2006, he was a resident in the Departments of Dermatology, Venereology, Allergology and Immunology Municipal Hospital Dessau, Academic Teaching Hospital of the University “Martin Luther” in Halle-Wittenberg.
In 2007, he finished his PhD work in the field of dermatology and oncology at the Medical University in Sofia, Alexanders Hospital and continues to be resident in the Departments of Dermatology, Venereology, Allergology and Pediatric Pulmonology in Kühlungsborn, Germany. He acquires specialty Dermatology and Venereology in 2008.
From 2008-2010 Prof. Dr. Tchernev actively work for the creation and establishment of Policlinic in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Kirchheim, Germany.
In 2010, Dr. Tchernev receive academic degree “Associate Profesor”-Docent of Dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine at the Thracian University in Stara Zagora, Department of Dermatology and Venereology.
From 2011 to 2016 he was an Associate Professor/Docent of Dermatology and Venereology at the Policlinic of the University Hospital Lozenets – Academic Teaching Hospital of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
At the meantime, since 2013, he is a creator and owner of a private Policlinic for Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatologic Surgery, named “Onkoderma”, located in the center of Sofia, Bulgaria. Prof. Dr Tchernev is serving as Professore a Contratto in the University G.Marconi of Rome in the present Academic Year 2015 – 2016.
Since march 2016 Georgi Tchernev is additionally elected as Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatologic Surgery at the Medical Institute of Ministry of Interior (MVR)/University Hospital MVR.
Since 2018 Prof Dr Georgi Tchernev is Founder and Chair/President of the Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Prof. Dr. Georgi Tchernev is an author of more than 700 scientific papers, including articles published in international (and some Bulgarian) journals, including the The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Mayo Clinic Proceedings and The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Dermatologic Therapy, Wiener Medizinsche Wochenschrift, Deutsche Medizinische Wochernschrift, Der Hautarzt, JBRHA, etc., publisher and co-author of three books, one international Atlas for Dermatology , with over 40 book chapters in total and is a regular participant in national and international forums and congresses of Dermatology all over the world.
