Mikena LTD
“Mikena” LTD has specialized in the manufacturing of ladies’ top-wear – ladies’ coats, suits, jackets, raincoats. The head office of the firm is situated in the Northwestern part of Bulgaria, 110 km away from the capital city Sofia, in the small and beautiful town of Montana.
The enterprise is created in 1996 with decree 919 of Regional Court - Montana. The ownership is 100% private, only of Bulgarian owners. It is managed and presented by the co-operators Krasimira Stefanova Ivanova and Ivan Mitkov Ivanov.
Developing through the years, “Mikena” LTD has proved to be a desired partner in the ladies’ coats production with customer’s materials for client firms from Western Europe – Belgium, France. Nowadays 110 highly qualified persons work in the firm and they produce about 120 thousand ladies’ coats per year (about 10000 pcs month capacity).
The company is disposable of its own buildings, machines and equipment, which correspond to the nomenclature of items, produced there. The manufacturing part of the company consists of departments for cutting, sewing, ironing and packing of the clothes.

The ironing is made by a steam mannequin Trevil, ironing tables and generators of the company of Kirtsios Bros, ironing jacket stations Veit, seam generators and ironing tables Veit and F.lli Casoli.

“MIKENA” is disposable of its own CAD/CAM Lectra system for computer modeling and plotting of patterns. The total machine number is more than 120 pcs, which is a premise for increasing the number of the occupied if needed, without buying additional machinery. All long-term material assets were bought during the period 1996 – 2009 and they give the opportunity to enlarge the offered items nomenclature and quantity.

A very good system for quality control has been established. “Mikena” LTD was awarded a quality certificat ISO 9001:2000 for manufacturing of ladies’ garments. Since 1996 the firm has been a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
