The International Banking Institute

The International Banking Institute is a limited liability company established in 1991. Associates in the company are the Association of Commercial Banks in Bulgaria, Bulgarian National Bank, Centre de Formation de la Profession Bancaire - France, and the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia. The scope of activity of the company is training of Bulgarian National Bank and commercial banks employees, and other persons, professionally engagedin banking and financial activities; research activities in the field of banking; exchange of bank information services; printed materials publishing; organizing and conducting training of experts in the field of banking and finance, as well as organizing different forms of training where perticipants acquire relevant diplomas and certificates, accredited in the country and abroad. In a strategic point of view the International Banking Institute - Bulgaria concentrates its efforts on establishing and developing basic competences to guarantee success and high level of professional knowledge of Bulgarian banking experts and banking institutions as a whole: - Banking Skills - Management Skills - Sales & Marketing Skills International cooperation: the institute develops programmes in cooperation with reputable international organizations, such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the British Department forInternational Development (DFID). The institute is a full member of the European Bank Training Network (EBTN)and supports long-term collaboration with the Agency for Financial Technologies Transfer (ATTF), Luxembourg and SWIFT - Belgium.
