P R O D U C T S Video doorphone systems Ranina Ltd. produces two basic types of video interphone systems – one house video doorphone systems /for one office or apartment or house or etc./ and multiple house video interphone systems /for a office building for example/. One House RN-912 Video Intercom System (OHVIS) The One House RN-912 Video Intercom System (OHVIS) is easy to install in apartments, offices, multilevel apartments, small family houses and other buildings, to provide audio and/or video connection between the front door and other premises. The system is user-friendly, easy to establish and readily adaptable to specific needs. The RN-912 is not compatible with the standard ЕI-401 audio intercom installation fitted in residential buildings. The RN-912 consists of several types of devices: an outdoor module, which is mounted at the front door – a speaking device with or without a video camera; intercom devices, which can be installed in the various premises – the video monitors, audio intercom sets; and additional modules which provide for the special functions: the bell, the camera commutators, the video amplifier, the video branch, the video memory, the vizitfon, the power module - adapter or power unit. All outdoor modules are intended to function under normal atmospheric conditions. All intercom sets and additional modules are intended to function indoors at room temperature, protected from outdoor conditions. System working principles: pressing an outdoor module video camera bell will cause all video monitors to ring a ding-dong signal and display the image of the place where the ring was made. The subscriber can hold a conversation with the visitor and open the door where the ring came from. After the handset is replaced the system automatically returns to standby mode in expectation of the next call. An extension call named “Intercom Connection” can be held where more than one video monitors are available. It will not be overheard at the outdoor module. Specific additional devices, where available, allow for the space in front of the video camera to be seen on the monitor by pressing a certain button on the front panel of the video monitor, without any call from the outdoor module. The RN-912 is capable of supporting video memory. This function can be performed if the user wishes to keep record of all calls and visitors. Thus, visitors to the building can be traced even without a porter’ s observation desk. The RN-912 allows for a sole audio variant where the outdoor video cameras are replaced by speaking devices and the video monitors - by audio intercoms. Pressing the outdoor speaking device bell causes all audio intercom sets to ring a ding-dong signal and if the subscriber wishes he can talk to the visitor or open the door the ring came from. After the receiver is replaced the system automatically returns to standby mode expecting the next call. Where more than one audio monitors are available, an extension call named “Intercom Connection” can be held between them, which will not be overheard at the outdoor module. The RN-912 Video Intercom System can support up to 5 video monitors and 4 uniform or different video cameras /speaking devices /. Thus, images can be obtained from at least 4 places, which can be seen in sequence on 5 video monitors. The Multiple House Video Interphone System RN-255 The Multiple House Video Interphone System RN-255 is a high technical addressable module video doorphone system which realizes a wide range of functions and facilities for the customer. RN-255 is designed according to the requirements for the multiple house buildings containing a great number ofseparate rooms. That kind of building could be house building with individual apartments as well as a large busyness centre consisting of offices of different companies. RN-255 a high technical system – it is developed according to the newest requirements for video interphone systems and transmition of video image and sound. Materials of high quality and lighter constructions are used. RN-255 is an addressable system - RN-255 is designed with a new principle of bus addressing of the subscribers, which is its exceptionally priority over the rest types of video doorphone systems. This functional method of secures promptly, safely, and better quality of the transmitted signals; easieroperation by the customer andmore simplified and fast installation for the technical team. RN-255 has a wide range of functions and facilities for the customer - RN-255 combines the basicfunctions of the video interphone systems: transmition of video image and sound, remote opening ofthe front (or/and back) door of the building, building a connection among the separate rooms of one apartment /office/ - Intercom and some additional facilities for the subscriber: preserving of thesubsequense of the calls and the information about the appearance of the visitors in a module for video memory /function known as video sectretary/, building a connection among the individual apartments /offices/ in that building by dialing the number of the apartment /office/using the special keyboard of the calling video interphone set, possibility for additional bell with video camera and talking unit in front of the apartment /office/ door, possibility for using modules of the One House Video Interphone System RN-912 in RN-255 etc. RN-255 is a software dependable system build in separate modules and it can be upgraded when necessary or by customer’s will with no installation change. The system is designed and prodused in modules which can be combined depending on the functions that must have the built system and the customer’s will. This way makes easier the installation, maintenance; change of the modules of some of the subscribers without bothering the rest of them. RN-255 can be built also as an audio interphone system only and some of the subscribers can replace their video interphone sets with audio interphone sets and use the systems this way. RN-255 supports up to 255 subscribers and the standard set is designed for 5 separate self-contained apartments /offices/. Each subscriber obtains the same high quality of the transmitted image, sound and functioning by video interphone system no matter of the location and elevation of the premises in that building. RN-255 can support also a guard control centre to do registration and additional control over the visitors when higher security is needed. Near the main entrance of the building the outdoor control module is placed. Using a group of separate wires /called bus/ the outdoor control module is connected to each one of the addressable video or audio interphone set in every individual apartment /office/. Each one bell from the outdoor control module corresponds to a one and only apartment /office/ using an address set by a specific software. Therefore apartment /office/ №1 corresponds only to bell №1 without depending of the number of the interphone modules placed inside the apartment. Wrong call coming up is impossible due to addressing type of the system and the fact that the exact bell corresponds to the only one exact apartment /office/. The addresses are stored in a power undependable memory and if power failure happens no re-programming will be needed. An electronic bell with video camera and speaking device can be put also near the front door of the apartment /office/ except near the main entrance of the building. Two different melodies are available for the bells from the two places. The subscriber can distinguish the place of the call and this way additional security level is created relating the visitor. When two main entrances are available and both of them must have access control two outdoor control modules are to be used. In this situation when a call comes up from the first door /front f.e./ the video monitor will show the area in front of the one entrance of the building. When a call comes up from the second door /back f.e./ the video monitor will show the area in front of the other entrance of the building. Video interphone system RN-255 is capable of storing records of all calls and appearance of the visitors in a video memory module. The video memory keeps the record from the video monitor it is connected to. Additional video monitors can be installed inside the different rooms of the apartment /office/ by customer’s will. An extension call named “Intercom Connection” can be held where more than one video monitors are available. An extension call named “Subscriber’s Communication” depends on the specific type of the video monitor. The type of the video monitor which can be used is specified because of the bus type installation and existing of address as an identifying code of the apartment /office/. As it was clarified above each one apartment /office/ corresponds to a definite number. This number defines the address of the concrete apartment. This number is possible to send using the specific keyboard of the video interphone set similar to the telephone keyboard. Dialling the number of the apartment /office/ and a definite keys combination the subscriber can accomplish a remote contact between him and his neighbours. This kind of internal conversation does not need telephone exchange and of course, money charges. Therefore this function of RN-255 can be realized only using a certain type video monitor which receiver is equipped with the specific keyboard. This type video monitor is constantly used as a basic modul of the interphone system. RN-255 is capable of adapting modules of the One House Video Doorphone System RN-912 to RN-255. It is realized through a specially designed module and no new appliances are needed. There is, of course, a possibility for RN-255 to be builtentirely as audio interphone system. It must be drawn attention to the fact that in this way RN-255 will lose some of its unique functions. The function named “Subscriber’s Communication” will not be available because of the lack of addressing keyboard of audio interphone set. The function “Video secretary” will not be available because there will be no image transmitted and stored. The security level of the system will be decreased. Of course, this level can be compensated using a guard control centre which could perform some of these otherwise totally automatic functions. This compensating solution will cost additional human resources, appliances and money which could be saved in case of building video interphone system. Design and development of video /audio/ surveillance and control systems Video /audio/ surveillance and control systems secures high image and sound quality for the definite object. Each system is equipped according to the concrete building demands and according to the customer’s requirements about the security level and the way of storing the information. Generally the system includes video camera to capture the situation and video monitor to show the received information. When the equipment is selected more specifically the video control systems can preserve the information using the newest digital video recorders. To obtain different functions demanded from a video surveillance and control system other functional devices are used such as commutators, multiplexers,data and time generators, video distributors and so on. It guarantees reliability and perfect functioning in case alarm detected. These products are modules which are combined depending on the requirements for the object security level. Desirously is their installation to be preceded by a primary view of the building. The information about penetrating into a given building is determined in a sensor way. Sensors are put in a clue places in and near the guard areas. The information of penetrating is transmitted to a control unit named guard centre which turns on a siren for internal and external sound and light signalization. The guard centre also notifies a guard team for example SOT and using a dialer informs the customer /police, neighbours, close friends, relatives and so on/ by phone – mobile or telephone. The presence of a video surveillance system with a recording device creates another one security level. The way of penetration can be traced and identifying the trespasser can be helped also. In the branch of fire alarm and fire-extinguishing equipment Ranina Ltd. works together with companies known on the Bulgarian market- Unipos Ltd. and the Greece company Elinex. The fire alarm control units and their elements are contemporary and reliable, easy to control and operate with. All inputs of the control unit are reliably protected against short-circuiting or line short-circuiting. All events which activate the system are memorized and shown. When system is to be turned on pre-alarm state is used to make easier the procedure. The pre-alarm state is accomplished by a adjusting timer to slow the system turning on with the sirens. The control unit is organized to include panic buttons and to show their state through LED indicator. Every moment the operator can get information about the area status – turn on/off; alarm or pre-alarm condition. This information is shown through LED indicators. The control unit can be used also for detection of gas, flood etc. Part of the fire-extinguishing equipment used in practice is the automatic fire extinguisher Elinex combined with a sprinkler and extinguishing powder. They are offered in different modificationsdepending on their way of installation into the premises and their sprinkle diagram. Sprinkler manufacture is controlled by a Quality Control Passed System sertificated by LPCB with BS5750 part/ISO8001/EN29001. Each one sprinkler is tested for pressure minimum 30 Bar and is put to a temperature test. And there are 28 strictly examinations left to pass. Specially air-prooved tank full of multifunctional foam-joined dry chemical extinguishing powder is added to the sprinkler system. This tank is widely used because of its low price and high efficiency. The powder is carefully selected and cultivated, it does not become solid and it is not toxic and abrasive.
