Byal Bor JSC is the successor of one of the biggest and modern for its time enterprises for woodworking companies founded in 1947. The company used to produce doors, windows and the first prefabricated houses in Bulgaria with wooden constructions.

Byal Bor JSC is the successor of one of the biggest and modern for its time enterprises for woodworking companies founded in 1947. The company used to produce doors, windows and the first prefabricated houses in Bulgaria with wooden constructions.
During the period 1990-1995 the company specialized basically in the production of precast houses and started working on a German license. At that time started the export of houses to West Europe initially to Austria and Germany. In 1996-97 started joint ventures with German construction and building firms thus increasing significantly the number of prefabricated houses with wooden construction built there.
In 1997 the company was privatized. Its specialization increased. The market demand increased in parallel. At the moment houses of Byal Bor, besides in Bulgaria, have been erected in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Macedonia, Albania a. o. In Macedonia such houses shelter kinder gardens and health institutions donated by the Bulgarian government.
