"ELVEX" Ltd. was established in April 1991. Initially only spare parts for single-phase and three-phase electricity meters were produced. During December 1991 г. "ELVEX" Ltd. received permission for producing three-phase electricity meters and was included in the National register of producers of means of measurement. Presently over 20 types of three-phase electricity meters are being producer: 1. Direct induction single- and double-tariff three-phase electricity meters with nominal electricity 5, 10, 15 and 20 A and maximum electricity 60 A. 2. Indirect induction single- and double-tariff three-phase electricity meters for current and tension transformers and for current transformers with nominal electricity 1 and 5 А 3. Triple-tariff hybrid three-phase electricity meters with a display for direct and indirect connection In the laboratory of the company tests of the parts which define the reliability of the electricity meters are constantly conducted. the results of these tests lead to improvements to the construction and the technology of manufacturing the parts that directly influence the reability: lower bearing, magnet, relay and counter. Main clients for the produced three-phase induction electricity meters and spare parts for three-phase and single-phase electricity meters of "ELVEX" Ltd. are the elecrticity distribution companies in the country. During November 2000 system for totla guality management was introduced which responded to the standart of quality management ISO 9002:1994. The respondence was documented with certificate № 73706/25.10.2000 г. from BVQI London.
