Вила Рила Villa Rila is located in the town of Samokov, only 9km from the ski resort of Borovets. The mountain slopes offer great conditions for practicing winter sports. You can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and sliding, or just go for a nice walk in the mountain. After spending some time outside in the mountain you can come back and have fulfilling rest in villa Rila. Take your time in the sauna or enjoy a relaxing massage from a specialist. In the summer season we can organize for you horse riding through mountain trails, accompanied by professional instructors. Mountain trekking to a specific destination or a picnic can also be arranged on request. Furthermore, we will be happy to prepare for you some delicious meals on BBQ. We will be happy to welcome you as our guests! Настаняване Accommodation in Villa Rila Vila Rila consists of four well-furnished apartments. Each one has a kitchen, bathroom and private WC. The apartments are stylishly decorated, with specific color nuances. The apartments also have spacious bedrooms, offering marvelous forest views. Guests can either rent any of the apartments separately or book the entire villa. Three of the apartments - Markudjik, Yastrebets 1 and Yastrebets 2, have one bedroom but their capacity is of four people. Each apartment has a bedroom, a living room and a kitchenette which is equipped with a refrigerator, minibar, a toaster, electric pot and cutlery. Apartments Yastrebets 1 and 2 also have panoramic terraces. The fourth apartment, Sitnyakovo, has two bedrooms. Therefore more than 4 people can be accommodated there. It consists of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and two bedrooms. It is located on the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped – ceramic plates, a coffee maker, a toaster, a juicer, a mixer, all necessary utensils and cutlery. The living and dining rooms are very spacious and the terrace leads directly to the yard. In this apartment guests can also enjoy a cozy and beautifully-decorated fireplace. At the guest’s disposal is also a tavern which is decorated in traditional Bulgarian style. It offers good self-catering conditions. On request, specialties and typical meals can be prepared for you as well. The tavern’s main purpose is to be a nice gathering place that can be used by all villa guests. Therefore, it is especially suitable for groups and celebrations. Outside the villa you can enjoy the green yard. There is also a BBQ where you can prepare some food, have a refreshing drink or just enjoy the fresh air. After spending some time outside in the mountain you can come back and rest at the villa. Facilities Facilities Villa Rila has all modern facilities needed for a complete relaxing holiday in the mountain. All apartments have kitchens. The kitchen in the two-bedroom apartments and the tavern are equipped with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave oven, a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, and an iron. All necessary utensils and cutlery are also at the guest’s disposal. The BBQ in the yard is located under a massive shelter. There is also a nice area with a table and chairs suitable for outdoor dining. Entertainment Ski slopes in the region Borovets Samokov is located only 12km from the ski resort Borovtes which offers great conditions for practicing winter sports. It has 24 ski slopes with overall length of 58km. The slopes vary in difficulty and thus are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. They are grouped in three areas: Sitnijakovo – Martinovi baraki, Markudjik and Yastrebets. The longest slope is 12 km, and the ski running track is 35 km. All Borovets slopes are suitable for snowboarding as well. Govedartsi The Govedartsi resort is located 13 km from Samokov. There is a 1.5 km ski slope that stands about 2 km away from the village in the foot of Malak Mechit Peak. The slope is serviced by ski-tow “Pomagalski” with length of 1300m, and a children tow that is long 250m. In the winter season Lakatnitsa river freezes and thus forms a natural track for ski running. There is a tea house and ski equipment base near the track. There are three slopes – Rajdavica, Uleya and Mecha Polyana, and several tows, two of which are suitable for children. Malyovitsa Malyovitsa is a famous peak in Rila. It offers great conditions for ski tourism. The north part is 124m high. The three marvelous Maliovishki lakes and Maliovo Pole area are located there. The region is perfect for extreme runways and snowboarding free style. Malyovitsa is favorite place for tourists even in the summer season as it offers one of the hardest hiking trails in Bulgaria.
