About us Realizing Ecology Projects, including utilization of wooden waste is the main activity of Ekoteknika. The company is the biggest owner of forests in Bulgaria and one of the founders of Bulgarian Forest based Sector Technology Platform, which represents Forest based Sector Technology Platform. Besides the ecological, sustainable forest management of its forests Ekoteknika utilize waste biomass and produce eco briquetts, pellets, wooden pallets, wooden products and calcium carbonate. Our Vision : Utilizing waste biomass and generating calcium carbonate takes a key position in the idea of the nature saving society. It has the features of a competitor industry, based on knowledge, which encourage the wider use of renewable resources. With its activity the company tendency is to ensure social input in the context of a bio based, customer orientated, environment protective European economy. PRODUCTS: Eco briquettes : During the manufacturing of bleached kraft pulp wooden chips with constant fraction content apart. Their percentage humidity is 38-42 %. Aiming their utilization it was an installation for eco briquettes constructed in 1999. Wooden chips from beech, oak and acacia is used like raw material. The production is performed by briquette presses BP60/200. The purpose of our company is to represent our client ecologically clean product, which find application in agriculture and at home. The main ecological benefits are: -our product does not emit harmful substances; -save time for cleaning the ash after burning process, because it is in lower quantities.; -the ash can be used as fertilizer, neutralize the acid soils; -ensure high temperature; -no composition materials are used; -protecting the environment; The production capacity is about 5000 tons per year. The combination of high temperature during their drying and the high pressure determine their density, and respectively smaller storage place. The demand of eco briquettes is brisk, because it is easy to operate with them and achieve the needed result. The eco briquettes are packed by 3 pieces in polyolefin and on pallets of 700 kg. each.The pallets are wrapped, which allow any transport. The eco briquettes has the following characteristics: Density 1,1-1,15 g./cm3. Diameter – 62 mm. Length of the briquette 200 - 300 mm. Moisture in product – 8-12% moisture Sulphur – maximum 0,02 % Ash – maximum 1,5 % Caloricity – 19,03 MJ/ kg Volatile ingredients – 78 % Pellets : „Ekoteknika” invest in pellet instalation, which started production in the end of October 2010. The pellets are with high caloricity. The final product comes out by pressing wooden chips of 8 mm(diameter) and length up to 30 mm. They are suitable for use in all kind of heating appliances, fire places and furnaces. Wooden details There is innovation of the wood process department impending, where new generation wood processing machines will be used for manufacturing floorings, boutique boxes, cutlery, souveniers and other optional pieces made by order. Calcium carbonate From Chemistry point of view the Calcium carbonate received by deposition has better characteristics than the natural one. The structure of its component is oval and the content of iron and manganese aggregates is low. Our Calcium carbonate is extremely sheer and has low abrasion . Wooden pallets The pallets have dimensions 0,80m./1,20m. Made of poplar wood with screw nails. The pallets can be produced in different dimensions.
