About Us |
The company of “Todor Oprev” was founded in 1994. Since then its activities are in the field of seeds production and cultivating perennial plants like apricots and vineyards. Starting with some 200 decares, at this stage the company is in possession of 400 decares fruit orchard and 260 decares vineyards. The company develops trade activity with agricultural production and preparations for vegetable protection. The year of 2006 is crucial for the company. The idea of creating an own winery is transferred into a project, which is put into reality just 9 months later, due to the team of technologists and mechanics, as well as friendly organizations and partners, who actively help the project. |

“Oprev” winery is a modern stucture that has a completely closed cycle of production - from the grape to the bottle of wine. The productional capacity of the equipment is 170 000 litres. The aim of the company strategy is to load down this capacity with grape coming from its own vineyards. The idea is to guarantee the ecological origin of the raw materials. The grape is hand-picked, which means high level of quality control. A modern laboratory, equipped with up to date appurtenances is responsible for the strict fulfilment of the productional technologies, as well as controling all stages of the productional process. |
| The ambition to produce its first wine in 2006 costs a lot of endeavours and tense moments to the company, but the results surprass the most optimistic expectations. The new wines find out quickly their admirers and the market success gives true satisfaction to the company team, confirming the dictum: “Vineyards cultivated with love, yield memorable wines!” |

The company of “Todor Oprev” started its activity with cultivating 200 decares apricot orchards. In 2004 the orchards were extended with 200 decares different sorts of apricot trees, that became fruit-bearing in 2006. The sorts are presented by early, average and late ripening fruits. |
“Todor Oprev” company stated its presence on the market of agricultural services in Silistra region with one of its first activities – trade with agricultural products and preparations for vegetable protection. The company is a distributor of " Singenta". |
