Wood-rubber articles (WRA) This is a new product with extremely wide application possibilities. The composition, the prosses and the technology are protected by patent. Composition of the material: Wood-rubber articles (WRA) are produced from plastic technological mixture, consisting of: - wood particles ( bran, flour); - synthetic or regenerated rubber with the indispensable components; - other ingredients (fillers). The products are produced by pressing and hot vulcanization in appropriate moulds at relevant technological conditions. A specific technological mixture is used for the different types of products. Till 70% of the mixture content are waste products, determined as a heavy environmental contamination. There are no harmful emissions at the technological process. The technological odds and ends are to use again as filler.      technical characteristics Main technical characteristics of basic patterns made of WRA and material advantages: - Specific weight 1,4 – 1,45 - Hardness til 22 HBr - Bending strength 20,8 N/mm2 - Moisture regains no - Heat resistance (-50 - + 120 oC) - Speciffic electrical resistance dielectric - Flammability selfdieing - Organic volatile emissions no - Influence of acids and oils no - Weather resistance retains till 90% of the properties for 10-years period      Advantages of Wood-rubber articles: - Tight and homogenous structure; - Significantly increasing strength by appropriate armor; - Unproblematic obtaining of complex configurations, including hollow profiles; - Correct measures with little additional processing; - Easy processing on wood- and metalworking machines and tools; - steady pigmentation of the material and easy coating and laminating; - possibilities for supporting elements insurtion during the pressing process.      WRA application: The rich possibilities for composition modification and the flexible technology, relative low costs of the technological mixture, good properties and the other advantages determine wide application of WRA. Building and architecture In this area WRA find the widest and the most effective application. The technological mixture is especially suitable for production of: standard shuttering plates and large area waterproof panels; supporting transoms and pilars; railway sleepers; ruff constructions and coatings; front plates (renovative elements); interiour reveting slates and bafflers (faience and terracotta type); paving stones; wainscoating – interior and exterior; decorative panels; laminated floor covering, parquet; woodwork; channel and shaft covers and trap-dors; road signs and boards; warm- and moisture barriers and insulation; reverting panels for pools; stadium and sport hall seats.      Channel and shaft covers and street flow gratings : The shaft covers and gratings of wood-rubber mixture in standard dimensions and configuration cover the whole range of cast iron items in use. They are produced with and without installation frame. The technological water permitting holes pass the necessary capacity flow water without problems. All types of covers for communication shafts are also produced. Appropriately armed covers for channel shafts and street flow gratings are completely compatible with the used cast iron ones. The very good physical-mechanical properties – breack-bending fastness >=20 N/mm2 – ensure passing of heavy vehicles without problems. There are a lot of advantages in comparison with the offered at the market analogs: - till 4 times lower weight, which allows one person handling; - Very good weather and aging fastness, as well as completely water impenetrability assure over 10 years unproblematic exploitation. - suitably furrowed surface, combined with the material properties, does not allow sliding of over passing vehicles; - theft unattractiveness because of the inflammability of the material and inability for other usage; - Very strong environmental effect – about 70% of the components of use are environmentally contaminating technological wastes – secondary processed rubber wastes, wool bran and flour. All kinds of gratings, ditchs, chanals, furrows and other items for the ground and underground street building are feasible.      Furniture WRA completely display the till now used flatnesses of wood particles (chip board, MDF etc.). The good technological properties of the mixture allow: Произвеждат се със и без монтажна рамка. - one operation separate elements and modules production, including complex furniture constructions; - production of bar-plots, bath-tubs, freezer and refrigerator chambers, cupboards and shelving for wet and moist rooms, garden benches, counter tables etc. The advantages are: - fitting of supporting elements in the pressure process; - uncomplicated laying of all kind of coatings; - minimal additional works ( burnishing, calibration); - possibilities for complex configuration assemblies and details production, including different decorations; - high furniture fastness and durability, due to high physical-mechanical properties of the material; - low thermal coefficient of laminates, veneers and other coatings; - possibilities for special high durable varnishing and other coatings. Additional advantage is the unflammability and moisture-proofness of these products.      Woodwork It is completely possible production of standard woodwork, as well as individual orders, including glass-packages. A great advantage is the possibility, production of whole item in the pressure process (window or door), as it is assured the lock and knuckle fitting holes, as well as the flatness relief. The durability is guarantied from weather fastness and from very slow aging of the material. They have high thermal insulation and fitting- and usage facilities. Besides the mentioned above coatings, WRA can be covered with veneer. According their characteristics, the WR - woodwork are compatible with aluminum and plastic profiles. They surpass them in some indices and are cheaper.      Houses The main application is in the production of light family houses, cottages, immobile and mobile wagons, pavilions, summerhouses. The material has good thermal-insulation and noise deadening features and fulfil all requirements for modulus type movable houses production. Additional advantage is the fast and easy fitting, the lack of mould and mildew, fastness of microorganisms and woodworms.      Floor and wall tiles They stick well on plasters and putties. In natural colour, laid with dyes, enamel, polymer or mineral coating. Perfect hydro-insulation. Steady against acids, oils and all kinds of washing and cleaning stuffs. Suitable for houses, hotels, laboratories and production areas. The tiles find good application for walker’s areas and paths, loaded floor coverings etc.      Electrochemical undustry WRA successfully replace the well known materials, made of textile and thermoreactive resins (textolite, glass-textolite), or wool particles and thermoreactive resins (getinax etc.) The main advantage is the possibility to be produced articles with various configurations and measures without any mechanical processing with minimal additional operations (burnishing, calibration). They have dielectric characteristics, comparable with those of their analogs. WRA have physic-mechanical characteristics, equal or better than those of the analogs.      Machinery assemblies and details - replace completely till now produced details of textolit and getinax; - Combined assemblies and details of WR and metal can be produced in single operation. They are connected nonmountable in the pressure process; - A few additional processing is needed – only calibration and cleaning to the end measures. The mentioned above applications don’t embrace the WRA possibilities. The great number of recipes and the flexible technological process additionally brighten the WRA application areas through creating of new items with suitable characteristics. It is of great importance the light keeping of the technological regime assureing reprocucibility and equity of WRA with guaranteed high quallity.
