In OEM applications, operating temperature and pressure can fluctuate, which can cause variations in viscosity and often result in damaging effects to the flowmeter. Calibration Services Our calibration services are used to verify a flowmeter’s accuracy by comparing the meter with a primary flow standard traceable to the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST). Numerous factors can affect the accuracy of a flow meter including orientation of the flow meter, operating temperature and pressure, and the type and viscosity of the flow medium. Key Instruments takes this into account when comparing your flowmeter to a national standard for flow rate. Key Instruments employs expert lab technicians to perform calibrations for flow meters to ensure that we account for and eliminate the variables that could lead to inaccuracies in measurement. STANDARD PRODUCTS Variable Area Flowmeters TheFlowmeter Manifold System, available in 2-bay or 3-bay configurations, is designed to deliver oxygen to separate locations from a single source. The system consists of a precision machined stainless steel manifold with Series FR6000 flowmeters. The system is fully assembled, flow & leak tested, and is available in any combination of these three flow ranges: 3-1/2 LPM, 8 LPM and 15 LPM of Oxygen, or air. Electronic Products Series PV 9000 Electronic flowmeters, using differential pressure measurement / laminar flow element flow sensing technology, accurately measures the flow rate of non-hazardous, inert gases with an accuracy of ± 2% of full scale. The standard output for the PV 9000 meter is 0.0 - 5.0 VDC; the meter is also available with an integral or remote digital display, or 4 - 20 mA current signal. These electronic flow meters can be installed in any orientation with no effect on flow reading. All units are supplied with an aluminum body, high-impact resistant polycarbonate case and brass compression fittings. Combination of 3 direct read air acrylic flowmeters available off-the-shelf in either English or metric ranges, choose: - 1 from our Series FR2000 flowmeters - 2 from our Series FR4000 flowmeters Sight-Flow Indicators The Mechanical Flow Indicators for liquids and gases, include a rotor for quantitative flow indication in a special glass or acrylic tube housing. They offer 360° rotor viewing and may be installed in any orientation. They feature a dual wiper cleaning mechanism for the internal surface of the sight tube. The internal colored rotor spins proportional to flow rates and indicates intermittent or loss of liquid or gas flow. The flow indicator's rugged design is available in brass and stainless steel. Flow Control Valves Key Instruments offers control valves for low flow OEM, laboratory instrumentation, or bench top flow control applications. The valve designs and material make them suitable for use with a variety of gases and fluids. Complete valves are available in straight through or 90 degree angle body configurations and are constructed of brass or stainless steel. All valves are supplied with 1/8" FNPT inlet and outlet ports. The valve cartridge may also be integrally mounted in flowmeter assemblies. The economical cartridge valve (CVS) is available in three different needle tapers which cover our entire flow range. These units have a rising stem and provide nine turns from closed to full open.
